The Force Layer
THE INVISIBLE HAND
We treat magnetic fields as solid objects. We use them to hammer, squeeze, and throw matter without ever touching it.
THE MAG-FORGE (Contactless Manufacturing). Molten MS-Alloy injected into a vacuum chamber, surrounded by CHRONOS-100 coils. 100T pulse at 4 GPa crushes all porosity out of the metal. The "mold" is software—shape the field, shape the metal. Geometries impossible to release from a physical mold. Integration: Metallic Sciences.
THE LINEAR BOW (Mass Driver Concept). An electromagnetic launch system using H-LEV linear motor technology scaled for cargo acceleration. The concept: a multi-kilometer evacuated tube with staged coil acceleration, propelling cargo at velocities sufficient for Low Earth Orbit injection (with a solid-rocket kick stage for circularization). Cargo-only—acceleration profiles exceed human tolerance. This is a research concept that builds on existing NASA electromagnetic launch studies. Engineering challenges include tube length, thermal management at exit velocity, and power delivery (capacitor bank discharge at GW scale). Integration: Lorentz Aerospace. (See Section 13 for the full Lunar Mass Driver specification.)
THE FLUX-GRIP (Contactless Handling). Multiple ISO-1 coils in a configured array create controllable magnetic gradient fields. Applications: contactless handling of magnetically susceptible materials in clean-room environments, remote manipulation of radioactive components, and precision positioning in vacuum systems. Integration: Stellar Furnace.
